Tenim la missió d’ajudar a la comunitat femenina

Women Rising for Africa és una organització sense ànim de lucre centrada en l'empoderament de les dones, la mobilitat segura, la seguretat, la inclusió de gènere, la creació de noves oportunitats laborals i un nou conjunt d'habilitats per millorar la seva qualitat de vida i la seva independència econòmica.

Dones sobre rodes

Since we have been established, we have implemented 6 programs, witch 2 of the programs were with Electric bikes (bodas) in Kampala together with Zembo electric bikes.

We have trained over 80 women in 18 months, registered 3 women boda boda riders associations and set up 4 women only stages. Most women are working as taxi and delivery riders.

We are pleased to start this year 2024 with another 3 programs on E-bikes

We work hand in hand with local partners in the E-mobility industry such as Zembo ( Electric bikes), Green Hub ….  And other companies such as Safeboda, Globo  that are formalising the main transportation and delivery services of Moto taxi ( Known as boda boda) in East Africa.
