Vocational Skilling
The eVocational Skilling Program responds to the urgent need for specialized technical and entrepreneurial skills within Africa’s growing mobility and e-mobility sector. Targeting women and youth, the program provides hands-on, competency-based training designed to create a new generation of skilled professionals.
Participants are trained in
- Motorcycle mechanics
- Electric vehicle (EV) systems
- Renewable energy integration
- Battery maintenance and swapping technologies
Through this approach, the program not only strengthens the e-mobility workforce but also empowers participants to pursue self-employment and entrepreneurship, thereby expanding pathways for sustainable livelihoods.
By equipping women and youth with the skills to actively shape Africa’s transport and energy future, the initiative builds a pipeline of talent capable of advancing inclusive economic growth, innovation, and climate resilience.
