OUR EVOLUTION FROM WHEELS TO WATTS
Following the successful expansion of our Women on Wheels (WOW) program, we recognized a critical gap in rural infrastructure.
Building on our vocational training program , we are going beyond mobility to provide the fundamental energy needed for rural growth.We have officially launched our first Solar Hub Pilot , a sustainable ecosystem designed specifically for rural environments without reliable energy or water.

Run entirely by trained local women , these center is the heart of the community.
Access to clean energy: Providing reliable power to charge mobile phones and essential devices.
Support for E-Mobility: Acting as a central station to charge or change electric bicycle batteries, keeping our WOW users moving.
Resources to sustain life: Powering electric water pumps to provide constant access to clean, safe water.

The Kalagala Parish Solar Hub. Operating as a fully community-owned ecosystem, this solar-powered station drives grassroots women's empowerment, fosters local economic independence, and builds climate resilience across 5 villages in Kalagala Parish.
By combining clean energy with sustainable transport and agricultural innovation, we are transforming daily life and breaking the cycle of energy and water poverty.
OUR GROWING ECO-MOBILITY FLEET:
Transportation is the backbone of rural commerce. To keep our local businesses moving sustainably, the Solar Hub serves as a central battery-swapping and power station. Our current clean energy fleet includes: 10 Africrooze Cargo Bikes: Tailored for heavy-duty agricultural transport, helping women get fresh produce to market before it spoils. 7 Ebee Electric Bikes: Offering fast, affordable, and zero-emission transit for daily business operations. 3 Electric Tuk-Tuks: Providing high-capacity transport options for larger cargo volumes and multi-village trade networks.

Solar Lamps: Extending productivity and studying hours into the evening safely.Smartphones & Button Phones: Keeping families connected and enabling secure digital money transactions for businesses.
SCALING UP - Our Vision for a Complete Sustainable Ecosystem
While our clean transport systems are thriving, the 5 villages of Kalagala Parish still lack access to dependable clean water and electricity. To resolve this, we are scaling up our infrastructure to create a circular, self-sustaining ecosystem:
Solar Water Pumping: We are integrating a high-efficiency solar water pump directly into the hub to supply safe, reliable, and accessible drinking water to the parish.
Solar Irrigation Systems: By deploying solar-powered irrigation, we will insulate local women farmers from unpredictable rainfall patterns, allowing for year-round agricultural production, enhanced food security, and stable weekly profits.
THE WOMEN'S SUCESS PATH
Our target is clear and actionable: Every woman involved in the ecosystem earns a net income of at least UGX 100,000 per week.
Through structured training, affordable equipment rentals, and a transparent money-flow cycle, the hub ensures that profits stay exactly where they belong—in the hands of the community.
OUR FIRST SOLAR HUB
Thanks to the funding of Sant Pere de Ribes and Sant cugat del Valles city councils Spain, the technical expertise of I4SD and the donation of the solar equipment from Nexus Green, we have completed our first pilot solar Hub Fully Operational in Kalagala Parish , Uganda.
