SUPPORT OUR PROJECT

Women on Wheels

Since we have been established, we have implemented 6 programs, witch 2 of the programs were with Electric bikes (bodas) in Kampala together with Zembo electric bikes.

We have trained over 80 women in 18 months, registered 3 women boda boda riders associations and set up 4 women only stages. Most women are working as taxi and delivery riders.

We are pleased to start this year 2024 with another 3 programs on E-bikes

TOGETHER WITH OUR LOCAL PARTNERS

We work hand in hand with local partners in the E-mobility industry such as Zembo ( Electric bikes), Green Hub ….  And other companies such as Safeboda, Globo  that are formalising the main transportation and delivery services of Moto taxi ( Known as boda boda) in East Africa.

Our trainings

Safety & Family planning

Women are victims of different forms of violence on a daily basis. For this reason, many women are interested in learning how to protect themselves against violent situations, but may not know how. Also deal with emotional violence and abuse. Martial arts and emotional coaching enable women to develop the mental and physical skills to defend themselves against physical and emotional abuse. We also offer an intensive class on family planning so women can have access to the information and knowledge on planning their lives and future.

Economic Empowerment & First Aid training

Investing in the economic empowerment of women and girls includes women’s ability to participate equally in existing markets, their access to and control over productive resources, access to decent work, control over their own time, lives and bodies and increased voice in meaningful economic decision making at all. Empowering women creates more resilient communities because when women are supported, health among families increases, as does the income and the amount of children that attend school. Also an extensive training of first Aid is provided by ECO of Uganda, with recognized first aid  certification, so women can also be prepared on the road and at home.

Why not women?

What we are doing
in Uganda?

Creating new programs to empower the women community, creating economic independence and gender equality.

Our Mission is to equip women with knowledge, education and new skills, empowering them to become independent entrepreneurs with assertiveness and security, creating a safe supporting community and the opportunity to improve their quality of life as well as entering male dominant industries and labor markets. Gender inclusion is primordial for the well being of our planet.
