Women Rising for Africa is a non profit organisation with the focus on Women empowerment, safe mobility, safety, gender inclusion, creating new job opportunities and a new set of skills to improve their quality of life and economic independence.
Our mission is to equip women with knowledge, education and new skills, empowering them to become independent entrepreneurs with assertiveness and security, creating a safe supporting community and the opportunity to improve their quality of life as well as entering male dominant industries and labor markets. Gender inclusion is primordial for the well being of our planet.
The programme that Women on Wheels wants to break is the access to autonomous mobility and safety through the services of motorcycle drivers, turning it into a new skill and source of income. Our proposal is based on the fact that a woman who can move safely has more opportunities to find work and be independent.
